Order Terms

A 70% deposit is required to confirm and commence your order. The outstanding balance shall be payable in full upon completion of the order and prior to shipment or delivery.

The estimated completion time is 25–30 working days from the date on which payment is received. Completion times are estimates only and may be affected by factors including, but not limited to, current production workload, electricity interruptions, supplier delays and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Please note that our products are handmade and individually produced. Accordingly, minor variations in colour, print, design and overall appearance may occur. Products may therefore not be completely identical to one another or to images displayed online.

Minor adjustments to an order may be accommodated where such adjustments fall within reasonable measurement parameters. Any adjustments requiring additional materials, alterations or additional production time may be subject to an additional charge.

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing their quotation and order details and must notify Soft Spot of any errors or discrepancies before production commences.

Design Approval

A design proof for personalised orders will be sent to the customer for review and approval prior to printing.

By approving the design, the customer confirms that all design details, including names, spelling, colours and layout, have been carefully checked and approved.

Order Cancellation

A 50% deposit shall be non-refundable where the fabric required for the order has already been ordered.

Free Delivery

Free delivery is available on qualifying orders of R1,499 or more.

This offer is effective from 5 April 2026 and does not apply in conjunction with any other specials, promotions or discounted offers, unless otherwise expressly stated by Soft Spot.

Small Pillows

Please note that any small pillows included in nursery linen sets are supplied without piping. The absence of piping on such pillows shall not be regarded as a defect or a deviation from the product description.

This applies to Small Scatter Pillows, Small Name Pillows and Cot Pillows.

Fabric Information

Soft Spot prints on a premium polyester fabric which is:

• Super soft and baby-friendly;

• Hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin;

• Durable and easy to wash; and

• Designed to retain its colour beautifully over time.

Cotton Fabric

Cotton fabric printing is available on request only. A request for cotton fabric must be made and agreed upon before an order is placed and may be subject to an additional charge.

Customers are required to contact Soft Spot directly to discuss available cotton fabric options prior to completing their order.

Custom Orders and Returns

No Refunds on Custom Orders

As custom orders are made to measure and/or personalised specifically for the customer, custom orders are not eligible for cancellation after production has commenced, refunds or exchanges once the order has been completed, subject always to any rights afforded to the customer under applicable South African law.

Customers are encouraged to contact Soft Spot before placing an order if they require assistance or are uncertain about:

• Fabric type;

• Colour shades;

• Themes;

• Design or layout; or

• Any other product specifications.

Our team is always happy to assist where possible.

Design & Production Process

At Soft Spot, every personalised order is handled with care to ensure quality and accuracy.

Once an order has been placed, the requested design details are submitted to our professional designer, who prepares a custom layout based on the customer's specifications.

Once the initial design has been completed, it will be sent to the customer for review and approval. The customer is responsible for carefully reviewing all elements of the design, including, but not limited to, colours, layout, spelling of names and all other personalised details.

Design Approval

By approving the design, the customer confirms that all information and design details are correct.

Once design approval has been received, the design will be forwarded to our printing team and production will commence.

Customer Responsibility

Soft Spot shall not be held liable for any errors, omissions or inaccuracies that were present in the approved design.

Should an error be identified after design approval, including incorrect spelling, colours or layout, the customer shall be responsible for any additional costs associated with reprinting, remaking or replacing the affected product.

Following the printing stage, all items are professionally stitched, assembled and finished by our production team. The completed order is then carefully packaged and prepared for shipment or delivery.

Certain products or Services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or Services may be available in limited quantities and are subject to our applicable return and exchange policies.

We have made every reasonable effort to display the colours and images of our products as accurately as possible. We cannot guarantee that your device's display will accurately reflect the actual colour of the product.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis.

All descriptions and pricing of products are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion.

We reserve the right to discontinue any product or Service at any time.

We reserve the right to refuse any order placed with us.

We may, at our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order.

In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you using the contact details provided at the time the order was placed.

We may provide you with access to third-party tools over which we neither monitor nor have any control or input.

You acknowledge and agree that access to such tools is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranties, representations or conditions of any kind.

Any use of optional third-party tools offered through the website is entirely at your own risk and discretion.

Section 14 – Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Soft Spot, together with our parent entities, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, from and against any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

Section 15 – Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nevertheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

The unenforceable portion shall be deemed severed from these Terms of Service, and such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes.

These Terms of Service shall remain effective unless and until terminated by either you or us.

These Terms of Service and any policies or operating rules posted by us on this website or in respect of the Service constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us and govern your use of the Service.

These Terms supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications and proposals, whether oral or written.

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you with Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
